I use FM25B included AC adaptor with FM25B/MP3FM for second channel, and I found a lot of static and hum with MP3FM...
today, I purchased a regulated (as indicated on the box) AC adaptor (1.5-12V, 300mA, from Radio Shack, set to 12V), once I plugged in MP3FM, all the static is gone, audio is cleaner than with the included AC adaptor
buy 20 bucks for cleaner sound is worthy
