Hiya, I'm an electronics newbie looking for a good electronics kit to learn with. I've been reading Mim's 'Starting Electronics', electronics for dummies, and Tab's 'Teach yourself electricity and electronics.'
I had a couple questions about the PL500 kit; maybe someone can fill me in?
(1) The picture of the kit shows a hinged case, which is convenient. Are there extra component parts supplied seperately (like IC's, jumper wires, etc) that I should get a plastic case for?
(2) How is the kit powered? Batteries? An adapter?
