I need some advise on RDF. I need to locate Wireless LAN access points in multiple floored buildings. The easiest would be to use a YAGI (such as LPY26). How directional is this antenna? How can I make this antenna more directional if that is needed? My frustration come from hunting a Linksys between three floors. The radiation pattern from the access point is giving us troubles and my training on transmitters has been lost due to 25 years of not using it. Also, is there a variable attenuator that I can use to help isolate a strong signal from others? Thanks in advance!
