It has been noted that there have been an awful lot of spam posts on this message board as of late. I find this annoying, and I am sure most of the members who actually use this site with respect do as well.

Also, upon closer inspection of the offending posters I have found links to offensive websites (porn, etc.), as well as very offensive statements. THIS IS JUST PLAIN WRONG!

Perhaps Ramsey should consider appointing some of the more senior members who have good track records here (such as myself), as volunteer moderators.

Please consider this before the problem becomes unmanageable...

Hi Fletch,

Well, I just did some housecleaning so you'll see less garbage now. We'll figure something out for getting rid of things sooner, and possibly let one of the more frequent and responsible posters such as yourself moderate the board if it gets out of hand. We got a little busy with Christmas and having fewer hands doing more work so the person who usually minds the board apparently missed those posts. Thanks to all of you who emailed about the spam and hopefully we can keep it down in the future. Let me know if it happens again.

You guys have been so great at using this board exactly as it was intended and at keeping things under control. We actually send people to the Forum with their applications questions because we know you'll help them out. Hats off to all of you and thanks again.
