Hello,
I am a high school teacher and my students are building a solar powered car. We got two motor speed controllers, the UK1125 and UK1130, one to handle steering and one to handle motor speed.
The problem is that I don't see how we can interface these controllers to a computer.
I had assumed that these controllers worked in a way similar to other motor controllers such as the TI Jaguar, which accepts a PWM control signal. But can't see how the devices can do the equivalent thing. Can they? Do they need to be modified? Is there more information on the circuit available? What is the chip on the board? I would like to get a datasheet for it.
Sincerely,
Peter Halverson
