Don't put down on the AM1 am transmitter kit from Ramseys,if you modify it a tad,it can be a Powerful system...I forgot to add in my last POST that besides the .001uf capacitor across L1(which gives it good sound)and the 330 ohm to ground(or try it to the MAIN ANTENNA FEED(RF OUT),,I also put a .01 uf in series with 100 pf from VFO Emmiter side to ground for FREQuency Stability,I transmit Country MUsic on 1320 khz it stays clear and loud, and is more clear and louder than the Local AM station that uses 500 watts on 1460 khz here in Mt. vernon Kentucky POPulation:12000 people, My range varies with MAX in daytime,I may get up to 300 or 400 feet in Day,night 100 or so feet,But it will cover any School ground which sometimes is 100-500 feet, especially when the signal travels some through the house wiring,as long as your house uses the same wiring,it will reach 1000 feet or so on the SAme Wiring. I give Ramseys the Thumbs Up!! I hope they study my Mods and come out with a new kit of AM1 with all mods in place for PERFECT sounding AM Broadcast, they didn't research enough to Know that WAllwarrrt power supplies, hum, and break down your Audio,I use a 12 volt 300 ma WAllwart, that hummed like dickings until i placed .001uf across L1 and other mods...perfecto now,,No changing 12 volt adapter!!!!!!!!!
