I mentioned it on another so called Hobby forum; that the FCC was going to go after Part 15 AM; according to an agent we spoke to. I was wondering when they were going to neuter Santa Clarita; it was doing 5 miles loud and clear from its 70ft tower.

Robert, you are right about the cause of enforcement.

Canada, is starting to look more and more appealing.

you can get a 1 watt fm event license from IC and keep renewing it as often as you like iirc. 1 watt on fm blows part 15 am away even with a elevated installation.

time to start up canadian border blasters on fm just like the old days. get someone in canada to apply for an fm license and have satellite studios in usa. this i'm guessing would only work close to ca/usa border areas. the other thing would be to get a ship registered in a country that usa does not have diplomatic relations with and anchor 5 miles offshore. the only way they could legally raid offshore ships is to the country the ship is registered in to sign off on it.

You can make a nice living with a special event broadcasting business and one can do a lot with 1 watt. Oh I might mention the economy in Canada is a lot better than ours; especially in Alberta and it's easy on the eyes too!

the economy there won't last too long. we are dragging the rest of the world down with our economy. most major developed countries economies are crashing hard just as bad as ours. and thats how they like it. war makes the top 1%'ers rich, war makes the world bank (illuminati) rich.

Before giving up on Part 15 consider that the NOUOs are issued to a small fraction of hobbyists and usually they are for blatant violations of the rules. Do your best to comply with the rules and enjoy the hobby. This has worked for me for over 50 years playing with Part 15 AM and FM. Don't let the bad experience or actions of a few spoil it for you.
