Summer Nights, Summer Lights Giveaway!
Summer time is all about great weather and enjoying the night. What better
way to help you enjoy those great summer nights than to light up the summer

BL2: High Intensity SMT Blinky Kit
What can be said about a Surface Mount blinky kit? The BL2 is the revival of our classic BL1
blinky kit in a new modern form! Yes, two LED’s that blink, just like our original blinky kit
that has made us famous, but this one is subminiature, and is designed with SMT components!
Why, you ask? Besides the obvious, a really neat, super bright attention grabbing display,
there’s no better way to learn how to work with SMT components! Don’t worry, we even include
spare SMT chips for when you goof up!
SBRGB1: Super Blink RGB SMT
Don't let the old title "blinky" scare you away from this marvelous little kit! It was originally
designed as a way to show off the latest technology in RGB (Red, Green, Blue) full color LEDs
while providing kit builders with a fun and economical SMT practice kit. Uses PWM methods to
generate any color with a simple 8-pin microcontroller, with switchable speed selection as well!
The dual jumper control system tells the microprocessor what scanning speed is desired for a full
cycle of 16,777,216 possible colors from the LED! It randomly selects different color scanning
modes to wow any observer to the point of distraction. This little attention getter is fun to
build and has loads of possible applications.
LEDS1C: High Power LED Strobe Light
Everyone has seen Xenon stroboscopes "stop" a spinning quarter or flash to music. Now you can get
the same effect without the expense and hassle of high voltage Xenon tubes! That’s right, a strobe
without a Xenon flash tube to break! The price of super bright LEDs keeps falling as their light
output keeps increasing, making them affordable for everything from traffic signals to vehicle tail
lights... and now flashing strobe lights!
